Overview

Provide project accounting support to Falmouth office under the supervision of the Project Accountant.

Responsibilities

  • Review subconsultant invoices in accordance with subconsultant agreements.
  • Monitor subconsultant payables, system linking subconsultant invoices; review weekly cash requirements for accuracy and scheduled sub payables.
  • Research budget and contract discrepancies.
  • Interact with subconsultants and vendors regarding project-related accounting issues, when necessary.
  • Maintain accounting files.
  • Process A/P voucher adjustments and labor adjustments.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable collections.
  • Input data into Vision, copy documents and billing backup, email invoices as organize project close-out files for inventory requested, scan various documents (invoice package for posting, etc.).
  • Assist with monitoring/adding COI information for subconsultants as needed.
  • Process AR invoice adjustments as required (voids, write-offs, rounding, etc.).
  • Assist in monitoring project status (i.e., active, inactive, dormant).
  • Prepare special client forms/worksheets as required for invoice submittals.
  • Print system invoices and modify as per client requirements.
  • Complete invoice reconciliations.
  • Assist with monthly reports (cash projection, AR summary, Retainage summary, etc.).
  • Run weekly project and marketing reports for PM’s.
  • Assist project accountant in compiling information and preparing reports.

 

Qualifications

Requires Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Requires at least 2 years cost accounting/GL experience. MS Excel skills must be at advanced levels. Vision software knowledge is a plus. Requires excellent communication skills. Experience in Architecture/Engineering consulting industry desired.
