Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate the proposal process from start to finish. Assist in the Marketing operations for the South Region which includes: Market Research, Proposal Production, Marketing Collateral, and Presentation Support. Responsibilities involve collaborating with Regional Management, Marketing/Business Development Manager, Project Managers, technical personnel, and other marketing staff to support marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of market assessments and analysis
  • Assist in monitoring industry websites for pursuit advertisements and addenda.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the Marketing Pursuit Database (Deltek Vision).
  • Lead the coordination of project teams and developing the content appropriate for proposals, interviews, and presentations, including determining the appropriate participation by specific personnel.

  • Establish a production schedule, identifying needed resources, to ensure a timely submittal.
  • Coordinate and lead draft reviews.
  • Author major proposals and edit technical input from project managers and engineers.
  • Lead and compile multiple pursuits at once.
  • Take a leadership role in marketing planning meetings.
  • Develop working relationships with other consultants, their marketing staff, and strategic partners as necessary.
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing/Business Development Director to represent TYLI at professional meetings, conferences, seminars, and industry functions where new business opportunities can be prospected.
  • Assist in maintaining current and accurate resumes and project profiles for the staff and projects within the Region.

  • Other marketing-related tasks, as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related discipline. Similar working level obtained through relevant job experience may be accepted in lieu of degree level education.  Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably proposal, marketing, and graphics experience at an A/E/C firm. Expert-level competency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative suite, particularly InDesign, and other relevant software. Working knowledge and experience using Deltek Vision, or similar CRM database system. Proficient in graphic design. Demonstrated ability to translate technical information into effective visual concepts. Advanced skills in document layout and publishing. Candidates must have a solid grasp of the print production process and he/she should possess good oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking expertise, and the ability to consistently hit target deadlines are critical components for this role. Work may be required after normal hours or weekends with short notice. Travel may be required.
