  • Overview

    The Senior Construction Scheduler shall be responsible for providing schedule reviews on multiple large highway and bridge construction projects simultaneously in the Los Angeles region.

    Responsibilities

    T.Y. Lin International’s Los Angeles office is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler to assist with reviewing Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules for large highway and bridge transportation projects.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Review CPM schedules and provide comments for resubmittal or acceptance
    • Review monthly CPM schedule updates
    • Assist Project Managers and Resident Engineers to defend against claims
    • Review Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) and provide reports
    • Provide forensic delay analysis
    • Provide concurrent owner/contractor delay anlysis
    • Provide concise accurate reports in a timely manner relative to delays, milestones, float, etc. to Project Manager and Resident Engineer
    • Attend meetings with TYLI Project Managers, Agency personnel and Contractors and be able to present findings
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    Requires Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; Registered Professional Engineer in California is preferred but not required; minimum 15 years’ experience in review of CPM schedules for large highway, transit or bridge construction projects. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, experience with multiple schedule software to include Primavera P6, and able to prepare concise and accurate reports.
