The Project Engineer will lead engineering teams on in performing engineering investigations, analysis, design, and calculations and preparing contract plans, specifications and estimates. The Project Engineer will supervise in-house staff and subconsultants in the performance of design work, interface with project management and client technical staff, adhere to the company’s Quality Assurance/Quality Control program, and prepare and manage budgets for engineering investigation and design work.
Candidate must we well versed in design standards, guidelines and techniques for New York/New Jersey agency clients, and use structural design software packages. The position requires advanced knowledge and application of basic and integrated engineering principles, fundamental theories, engineering techniques and procedures. This position depends upon the ability to collaborate with other project team members and the ability to apply discretion and independent judgement in the performance of the essential job duties.
