  • Overview

    T.Y. Lin International's Human Resources Department is seeking a Part-Time (24 hours per week) Senior Corporate Recruiter to join their team in the San Francisco Corporate office.  This position is responsible for facilitating the recruitment and hiring of candidates, will oversee one direct report, and will also handle special projects as needed.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Human Resources Director and Unit Managers to confirm hiring needs and position requirements.
    • Coordinate new job openings with Human Resources Generalists.
    • Compose and edit job descriptions.
    • Implement hiring procedures and improve upon recruitment measures
    • Supervise Recruiting Specialist in all recruiting areas.
    • Engage in effective recruitment methods to determine useful applicant markets
    • Train HR office staff on AAP and ATS requirements.
    • Pre-screen and circulate candidate’s resume to appropriate managers.
    • Process candidate’s resume through iCIMS.
    • Source candidates from various resources.
    • Conduct interviews in-person and over the phone.
    • Generate and/or review offer letters.
    • Work with outside recruiting firms on an as-needed basis.
    • Post jobs on TYLI website and other company/organization websites as needed.
    • Ensure that job postings are sent to minority and women organizations on a monthly basis.
    • Update Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) annually.
    • Check references for potential new hires.
    • Handle VETS 100 and EEO1 reporting.
    • Work with immigration attorney to coordinate work visas and permanent residency applications.
    • Work on special projects.

    Qualifications

    Requires a minimum of 6 years’ recruiting experience and 4-year college degree. Supervisory experience preferred. LinkedIn Recruiter experience essential. Must have worked with an Applicant Tracking System.  Familiarity with HR practices and understanding of fair employment practices. Previous A/E/C industry experience strongly preferred.
