  • Overview

    T.Y. Lin International’s Philadelphia, PA area is seeking a Transportation Project Manager that requires technical expertise in traffic and transportation design, plans production, and the ability to manage projects / clients, supervise production in multiple offices, and provide day-to-day technical guidance, supervision and mentoring to direct reports. 

    Responsibilities

    • Project Manager and client interface on transportation related projects.
    • Directs proposal efforts for traffic and transportation pursuits and writes assigned sections of proposals.
    • Participates in BD activities for pursuit of all disciplines of work opportunities.
    • Work with other project managers and Unit manager to establish contract budgets and scopes of work.
    • Plan and schedule engineering work.
    • Supervise, coordinate and review the work of other engineers and designers.
    • Performs traffic microsimulation modeling (e.g. HCS, VISSIM, etc.)
    • Responsible for the successful completion of projects under his/her direction.
    • Coordinates and conducts field investigations and data collection.

    Qualifications

     

    Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer’s license preferred and at least 10 years of experience. Demonstrated experience in managing transportation projects. Requires knowledge of transportation analysis software. Ability to prepare comprehensive engineering reports. Experience with PennDOT and DelDOT procedures strongly preferred.
