Overview

A Project Director position requiring technical education in civil engineering, architecture, construction or related field and proficiency in programming, planning, design and construction of aviation infrastructure and facilities projects. Duties of the position include evaluation of alternative airfield and/or terminal facility construction sequencing, phasing scenarios and construction techniques; preparation of studies; development of design and construction packaging alternatives; technical support related to airfield and/or terminal construction cost and scheduling; coordination.  Additional responsibilies include marketing and business development for aviation projects in the firm’s Mid-Atlantic Region.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate Airfield and Terminal Facility Construction Sequencing
  • Prepare Studies and Reports related to Airfield and Terminal Facility Design and Construction
  • Develop Design and Construction Packaging and Phasing Alternatives
  • Coordinate Aviation Design and Construction Projects
  • Evaluate aviation projects and programs and assist in identification of future pursuits
  • Interface with Client regarding Aviation Projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Related Field
  • Minimum of 15 years of design and/or construction experience
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer, Architect or Project Management Professional (PMP).
