Responsibilities

  • Apply principles of fluid mechanics of mechanical engineering to analyze existing hydraulic systems.
  • Use computational and analytical fluid mechanics tools to design new jet fuel storage, transmission, distribution, and terminal systems.
  • Produce mechanical design documents using CAD software utilities.
  • Develop mechanical engineering technical drawings, specifications, and requirements for aviation projects.
  • Help prepare and maintain project schedules.
  • Review fuel system implementation, and provide feedback regarding execution of projects.
  • Review submittals, technical reports, and other fuel systems related documents.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Must be able to perform job tasks, including having knowledge of fluid mechanics.
