Our Southwest area is seeking a Principal Project Manager, Roads + Highways. This position will require expert knowledge of roads and highway programs, successful experience delivering projects and mentoring junior staff. Responsible for management of internal and external design activities, including quality of deliverables, adherence to schedules, and overall client satisfaction of assigned projects.

This position shall be based out of Irvine, CA and work schedule can be hybrid in nature. Exact schedule can be discussed further with TYLin’s Southwest Area Sector Manager.

• Assumes ownership of assigned large scale projects and executes successfully.
• Serves as Project Manager on preliminary and final design projects. 
• Responsible for assigned project delivery and quality of deliverables.
• Monitors budgets and schedules of assigned projects.
• Identifies potential project prospects, prepares proposals, and leads client interviews. 
• Identify and recommend potential candidates to be hired for the Roads + Highways sector.
• Assists in overseeing operational performance of Irvine area and Orange County Roads + Highway sector projects.  
• Maintain membership in professional societies and represents company externally. 
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field of study.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• 16+ years of experience including Project Management.
• Experience with major California public works clients including Orange County and surround areas. 
• Strong knowledge of MS Office.
• Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
• Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
• High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $173,900 - $260,900 annually for this position and local market.
